Damage: 25% to bedroom by fire. 100% to the first floor by smoke.

Believed Cause: Accidental ignition of curtains by candle.

Initial Information: Call received to a bedroom fire. The property was believed to be empty.

Updated Incident Information: Upon arrival, 1 male was walked to safety by the Fire Service, he had been attempting to extinguish the fire.
An ambulance was requested as he was suffering from smoke inhalation and first aid was administered by the Fire Service.
2 breathing apparatus, 1 hose reel jet and 1 covering jet in use.
2 occupants were conveyed to the LRI.
