Damage: 100% to roof space
Believed Cause: Believed Accidental due to electrical fault
Initial Information: Several calls received to a house on fire on Quenby Street in Leicester. Smoke seen issuing from the building.
Updated Incident Information: Assistance Message received to make up to 5 Appliances and for the Aerial Ladder Platform. Informative message received confirming 4 Breathing Apparatus, 3 Hose Reel Jets and 1 Main Jet in use. Fire located in the roof space of the property and spreading to roof space of neighbouring properties. All persons being evacuated and full search of all properties being carried out. Informative message confirming Aerial Ladder Platform being got to work, a full search of all three properties carried out, all persons have been accounted for and the fire has been confined to the roof space of one property.
Fire believed to be extinguished, Incident will remain open for a reinspection to be carried out 19/02/21.
Re-inspection carried out no hotspots found. Fire Investigation Officer and Police will be attending this morning to investigate cause of the fire.
