Initial Information: 1 bungalow involved in fire
Updated Incident Information: 1 bungalow well alight, 2 breathing apparatus committed under rapid deployment and they are currently fire fighting externally. 1 fire fighting jet and 1 hose reel in use.
electricity and gas board requested to attend.
Annex at the rear of the property well alight and has spread to the house roof space. building measures approximately 20 meters x 10 meters. 6 breathing apparatus, 2 hose reel jets and 1 main jet in use. 1 compressed air foam system branch in place to prevent any further fire spread. positive pressure ventilation fan in use and gas and electrics have been isolated.
Breathing apparatus team are damping down hot spots and assessing annex and building with thermal image camera.
Police and ambulance in attendance.
short extension ladder and roof crawler in use. one fire fighter in safe working at height gear is on the roof of the bungalow removing tiles to check for hot spots and fire spread. thermal image camera in use in the bungalow internally.
1 main jet is in use to tackle pile of burning material in a room that is unsafe to enter.
Hot spots continued to be damped down.
