Believed Cause: accidental. electrical dehumidifier.

Initial Information: 1 kitchen involved in fire. 2 breathing apparatus and 1 hose reel jet in use. Rapid deployment in use.

Updated Incident Information: 1 house measuring approximately 5 metres x 7 metres. Fire located in the kitchen at the rear pf the property. 4 breathing apparatus, 2 hose reel jets and 1 covering jet in use.

Public Statement Issued: smoke alarms had activated and succeeded in alerting the occupiers.
