Damage: 100% to roof space

Believed Cause: Electric extractor fan overheating.

Initial Information: Call received to an electrical fire in the shower in the upstairs bathroom going into the loft.
Upon arrival crews requested an extra appliances for extra breathing apparatus.
The roof space was fully involved in fire and crews use breathing apparatus, hose reel jets and a covering jet foam system.

Updated Incident Information: Crews used working at height equipment and a 9 metre ladder to remove roof tiles.
Crews also requested the attendance of the Incident Support Unit for sheeting to cover the roof.
The fire was extinguished and fire investigation took place.
