Damage: Severe Fire Damage to 2 properties.
Believed Cause: Accidental
Initial Information: Multiple Calls received to fencing involved in fire and then this caught onto properties. Fire crews tackling fire.
Updated Incident Information: 22:00hrs - Following fire gas supply to property affected and leaking gas caused safety issue. A 50 meter cordon set up with around 50 properties affected and evacuated. A welfare centre for affected residents set up at local Leisure Centre. Cadent Gas Networks currently attempting to isolate gas to property. Once gas is isolated and gas levels return to a safe level residents will be allowed back into properties.
