Damage: Minor fire damage to facia and 1 sofa destroyed by fire

Believed Cause: deliberate ignition

Initial Information: call received to a settee on fire outside the flats

Updated Incident Information: On arrival Incident commander called for assistance of 2 further pumps and made the call persons reported.
Fire involving a settee in the front garden of the block of flats, fire has spread to the building effecting the eaves on the first floor.
3 flats on the first floor evacuated, slight smoke logging to the 1st floor communal areas. 1 hose reel jet in use to extinguish the fire. Police required as believed deliberate ignition.
Following thorough investigation of 1st floor flat all residents allowed back inside.
Natural ventilation of the communal areas being carried out.
External inspection of building for fire spread being carried out.
STOP at 23:50: Cutting away of facia taking place, Police in attendance.
