On arrival crews requested the attendance of the Aerial Ladder Platform, confirmed one building alight consisting of 3 floors. Two main jets and a ground monitor in use to tackle the fire.
Aerial Ladder Platform being used as a water tower onto the roof. Breathing Apparatus crews committed inside the building to tackle the fire.
Gas and Electricity representatives are in attendance. Police also in attendance.
Updated Incident Information: 00:45 - 2 Breathing Apparatus remain committed damping down and dragging out. Aerial Ladder Platform standing by.
Aerial Ladder platform no longer required at the incident and incident is now being scaled down to one pump for damping down.
Cause of the incident is under investigation.
One appliance remained on scene during the night, damping down and dragging out. Thermal Imaging Camera used to check for fire spread, nothing found.
Fire Investigation will continue this morning with Fire Service and Police, One appliance remains at the incident. Public Statement Issued: Local residents are being warned to keep windows and doors closed due to smoke plumes within the area.
