Damage: 100% to interior of oven.

Believed Cause: Careless burning of waste materials.

Initial Information: Call received from site reporting a fire involving an electric powder coating oven with wooden pallets.

Updated Incident Information: Upon arrival crews confirmed the fire was contained to the oven. Two Breathing Apparatus and one Hose Reel Jet in use, Positive Pressure Ventilation taking place.

Fire extinguished and oven involved isolated by Fire Service. All Breathing Apparatus and Positive Pressure Ventilation withdrawn and premises now being naturally ventilated.

Smoke cleared and staff allowed back into premises.
