Damage: 30% fire to kitchen area, 70% smoke to rest of property

Believed Cause: Unattended chip pan

Initial Information: 1 chip pan involved in fire, fire out on arrival, occupier extinguished fire and suffered burns to hand and smoke inhalation. First aid administered by fire service. Positive pressure ventilation carried out to clear smoke logging in property.

Updated Incident Information: Stop message - Female casualty assessed and treated by ambulance paramedic. Property ventilated using positive pressure ventilation and thermal imaging camera used to check for hot spots.
