Believed Cause: Accidental- unattended cooking
Initial Information: The initial emergency call call came from the occupant of the property stating that there was a fire in their kitchen. The smoke alarms were sounding and everyone was getting out of the house.
Crews confirmed that this was unattended oil in a pan that was involved in the kitchen, the fire was out upon arrival of the Fire Service. Crews used a thermal image camera to check for any hot spots and the gas to the property was isolated.
