Believed Cause:

Initial Information: Fire Control received a call from the security guard at the property, advising that he could see smoke coming from under a door of one of the flats within the block. He advised that the occupants of the block were following their evacuation procedures and that he believed that the occupier of the flat involved was not home.

Updated Incident Information: On arrival, crews confirmed that one pan was found on a stove involved in fire and two breathing apparatus, one main jet and a positive pressure ventilation fan were in use.

The fire was extinguished and several floors were inspected.
