Damage: 90% severe by fire to trailer of lorry.
Believed Cause: Accidental due to overheated brakes.
Initial Information: Heavy goods vehicle trailer well alight, 4 breathing apparatus, 2 hosereel jets in use. Build up of traffic on A42 southbound from Jct 12 due to incident, Highways agency dealing with traffic issues.
Updated Incident Information: Fire extinguished and trailer damped down. Vehicle loaded onto recovery vehicle and removed.
