Damage: Severe fire damage to tyre and wheels
Believed Cause: Accidental due to overheated brakes
Initial Information: Lorry trailer involved in fire.
Updated Incident Information: Fire contained to the braking system and axle rear of the trailer unit.
Trailer unit carrying 3000 litres of red diesel not affected by fire.
Police were requested to attend for traffic control.
Fire has now been extinguished and brakes have been cooled.
Arrangements are being made for the removal of the trailer.
