Damage: Approximately 80% to cab and 10% to contents of lorry.

Believed Cause: Deliberate ignition

Initial Information: Several calls to a lorry fire on the roadway

Updated Incident Information: On arrival lorry well alight, carrying plastic phone covers. 2 hose reels and 4 breathing apparatus wearers extinguishing the fire
Police requested.

03:15 Stop Message - Police are now in attendance. Damping down of cab and contents using 1 hose reel jet and 2 breathing apparatus wearers working in the open are in use.
03:29 - All breathing apparatus withdrawn. Contents of lorry being dragged out by fire crews to check for fire spread and hot spots.
