Initial Information: Multiple emergency calls to reports of an Articulated curtain sided lorry involved in fire on the M1 motorway.
On arrival Fire crews confirmed this was a lorry carrying pallets of paint, fire fighters wearing breathing apparatus and hose reel jets were tackling the blaze. For the safety of emergency service personnel and road users, the Fire service have closed the road.
Fire has been extinguished.
