Initial Information: CALL RECEIVED STATING SMOKE ALARM SOUNDING AND SMELL OF BURNING COMING FROM FLAT. CREWS IN ATTENDANCE CONFIRMED THAT SMOKE SEEN ISSUING FROM WINDOW 2ND FLOOR WINDOW, 9 METRE LADDER IN USE.
FIRE SERVICE GAINED ACCESS TO 2ND FLOOR WINDOW, SMALL FIRE IN KITCHEN, EXTINGUISHED USING HOSEREEL JET, VENTILATION OF PROPERTY TAKING PLACE USING POSITIVE PRESSURE VENTILATION FAN. ONE CASUALTY RESCUED BY FIRE SERVICE AND BEING GIVEN OXYGEN BY AMBULANCE STAFF.
Updated Incident Information: STOP - FIRE NOW EXTINGUISHED AND VENTILATION COMPLETE. RESCUED CASUALTY STILL RECEIVING TREATMENT FROM AMBULANCE SERVICE.
