Initial Information: Call received from occupant of vehicle stuck in ford - approximately 4 feet deep.
Crews in attendance confirmed one vehicle stuck in ford, contact made with occupant who remains inside vehicle, sled being got to work to extricate occupant from vehicle in flood water.
Occupant of vehicle returned to firm ground by Fire Service.
Vehicle left in situ in ford.
County Highways requested to close road to prevent further incidents.
