Believed Cause:

Initial Information: Call from person and his friend stuck inside lift, friend was diabetic and had low blood sugars. Lift engineer had been called but unknown how long they were going to be.

Updated Incident Information: Fire service attended and released 2 people from lift which was at ground floor level.

Public Statement Issued: In the unfortunate event you are ever stuck in a lift, there should be instructions on what to do. Often there is an alarm / intercom which you can use to make the control room aware of your situation in order to raise the attendance of a lift engineer. The Fire service do attend in situations where the occupants may be at risk due to health issues etc..........
