Initial Information: Lady on the side of the canal in the lock. The lady had jumped into the lock to save her dog and managed to get out of the water but was unable to get up the side of the lock.
Updated Incident Information: Fire Service assisted the lady from the lock.
Public Statement Issued: Please never enter water to rescue an animal, they will usually get out by themselves
