Fire and Rescue Service Vehicles Attended: 1 x appliance from Central Fire Station, Aerial Ladder Platform from Central Station, Rope Rescue Team from Southern Fire Station (although stood down whilst en route)

Believed Cause:

Initial Information: Initial call received to reports of 2 gentleman stuck in window cleaning basket 3 storeys up - lift mechanism had failed.

Updated Incident Information: Upon arrival incident was confirmed as 2 x males stuck in cherry picker at height. Mechanism had failed but cherrypicker was stable.
Aerial Ladder Platform was requested from Central station to assist with rescue Aerial Ladder Platform currently being got to work.
16:27 - Stop message received - 2 males were transferred from cherry picker to the ground using Aerial Ladder Platform.
