Initial Information: Call received from Leicestershire Police requesting Fire Service attendance at a road traffic collision involving one car with one person trapped.
On arrival, fire crews confirmed 1 car involved in collision with a telegraph pole/street light. There were 2 casualties, 1 of which was out of the vehicle on Fire Service arrival.
Crews were stabilising the vehicle. Leicestershire Police and a fast response paramedic were also at the scene.
Updated Incident Information: Car was stabilised and made safe.
04:50 Stop Message - One male casualty has been released from the vehicle and both he and the second casualty have been taken to Leicester Royal Infirmary.
