Initial Information: Call received from East Midlands Ambulance Service to a road traffic collision they had received a call to with persons still trapped in the vehicle.
Updated Incident Information: Upon arrival, crews confirmed one person trapped. Incident commander was liaising with the Police and Ambulance service to formulate a plan of action.
The road was closed in both directions by the police.
A full roof removal was carried out to extricate one casualty. Casualty was then handed over the the Ambulance service and was conveyed to hospital by land ambulance.
The incident was left with the police who were arranging the recovery of the vehicles.
