Believed Cause:

Initial Information: Call received from the police to a road traffic collision involving 2 vehicles with one of the vehicles in a hedge with one person trapped.

Updated Incident Information: Upon arrival crews confirmed that two cars involved with one person trapped, crews using hydraulic cutting equipment to extricate casualty.
Air Ambulance now in attendance and crews continuing to extricate casualty.
Stop received at 09:10 confirmed one casualty released by fire service from vehicle and is now being assessed by paramedics.
Casualty transported to Queens Medical Centre via Road Ambulance.
