Believed Cause:

Initial Information: Emergency call received to a Road traffic collision involving 1 car and 1 lorry. 1 person trapped.

Updated Incident Information: Informative message - 10:44: 2 vehicles involved in road traffic collision (1 car and 1 lorry) 1 female casualty trapped. extrication in progress.
Fire service, Police, East Midlands Ambulance and Air Ambulance are on scene.

Informative message - 11:04: female casualty remains trapped and is being assessed by EMAS and the air ambulance crew. extrication is in progress.

informative message - 11:17: full roof removal is now taking place, fire service are working alongside East Midlands Ambulance service. Halmatro cutting equipment is in use.

STOP MESSAGE - 11:30: 1 female has now been extricated from vehicle, casualty now in that care of EMAS paramedics and Air Ambulance team, casualty will be conveyed to Hospital by either Ambulance or Air Ambulance.
