Believed Cause:

Initial Information: Call received from the Police to a road traffic collision. A bus had hit the railway bridge over Barkby and Fairfax Roads.
Police and ambulance were already in attendance. Fire Service were requested as a precaution.

Updated Incident Information: 1 double decker bus involved in a collision with the bridge.
No persons trapped. 5 passengers had minor injuries and were being assessed by the ambulance service.
Fire Service stabilised and isolated the bus.
A Rail Incident Officer was in attendance and declared the railway safe. Trains resumed running.

Technical Rescue team was not required at the incident and returned to station.
Recovery for the bus was in attendance and fire crews made the scene safe.
