Initial Information: The incident involved a single vehicle road traffic collision, a car had collided with a lamp post. The initial emergency call came to the Fire Service from the Police, we were requested as it was reported that the vehicle was smoking, although suspected to be the airbag, the collision was located close to a petrol filling station.
Fire Service crews made the vehicle safe and assessed the safety of the lampost. The damaged lampost was taped off and local residents advised of the unsafe street furniture and relevant teams advised.
