Initial Information: incident involves 1 vehicle which has left the carriageway and is in the ditch. 1 occupant of the vehicle is receiving first aid by fire service personnel.
Vehicle battery has been disconnected by a member of the public

Updated Incident Information: East midlands ambulance service now in attendance along with the air ambulance
Fire service personnel assisting with extrication of casualty onto a long board from the vehicle situated in the ditch.

Casualty will be transported to hospital by ambulance
