Initial Information: A call was received from East Midlands Ambulance Service to request our attendance at a road traffic collision on the Glenfield Road, just outside Westgates School. They reported that one person was trapped in a vehicle.
Fire crews extricated one male casualty from the vehicle and the casualty received treatment from ambulance crews at the scene.
Updated Incident Information: The Police also attended the incident and Highways were made aware of a damaged traffic light.
