Initial Information: Call received from Leicestershire Police to assist at the scene of a RTC involving a car and a lorry, Police confirmed they are on scene and no persons were trapped, Fire Service assistance is required to make Vehicles safe.

Updated Incident Information: Informative message 01:34 - RTC involving 1 car into rear of articulated lorry, 1 male casualty is being treated by East Midlands Ambulance service, Fire service crews in process of making car safe by disconnecting the battery. Police have closed the city bound carriageway and one lane of the opposing carriageway.

STOP message 01:43 - Car has now been made safe by Fire service, Incident is now being left with Leicestershire Police.
