Initial Information: Initial call from EMAS requesting Fire Service attendance to a LGV that has collided with a low bridge and has shed most of its load. No persons are trapped within vehicle.
Upon arrival Incident Commander put in an assistance message for Make Pumps 2

Updated Incident Information: An LGV carrying vehicle batteries, paint thinners and other flammables has collided with bridge. Driver has been walked from vehicle prior to Fire Service arrival by EMAS.
Railway officers have placed a caution on the railway line. 1 HR Jet has been laid out by Fire Service for scene safety. Crews are using soil and environmental grab bags to stem part of a leak.

00:26: 2 Hose Reel Jets now laid out for protection. Meeting has taken place with Police who have arranged for Crouches Recovery to attend. Lorry currently being made safe by fire service.
01:34: Crouches recovery are commencing rescue of lorry under bridge. Hose Reel jets continue to be laid out as a precaution.
02:00: Following an assessment of the lorry there is a large drum that is lodged under the lorry and requires moving to aid recovery of lorry. 2 Breathing Apparatus under Stage 1 are in use to remove containers and drums.
03:17: Lorry and contents made safe by Fire Service. Lorry recovered by breakdown company to local depot. Road remains closed as rail incident officers and engineers assess damage to railway bridge.
04:06 - STOP - Fire Service leaving incident, bridge confirmed safe by railway engineers. Road remains closed to clear up chemicals from roadway.
