Believed Cause:

Initial Information: 17:34 - Two cars involved in RTC, no persons trapped. There are a total of 3 casualties, 2 from one car and 1 from the other car. Police in attendance and ambulance required to attend. Leicester Road temporarily closed in both directions and both vehicles are in the process of being made safe. One hose reel jet laid out.

17:43 - Both casualties assessed by fire service. Both vehicles made safe. Fire service assisting police to move vehicles to open road using vehicle mounted winch. 1 ambulance now in attendance.

STOP - 18:10 - All 3 casualties now assessed by ambulance service. 1 casualty is being taken to LRI by road ambulance. Remaining casualties have been told they do not need to attend hospital. Both vehicles moved from carriageway using fire service winch. Recovery company now in attendance. Road will remain closed and incident being handed over to police.
