Believed Cause:

Initial Information: Call received to a RTC, 1 vehicle in a ditch, persons trapped.

Updated Incident Information: 1 vehicle involved, 1 person trapped, extrication in progress and ambulance in attendance. A47 closed in both directions.
A 70 year old man was assisted out in a controlled manor through the tailgate and assessed by the ambulance service. Then transported by ambulance to Peterborough hospital.
2 small children and an elderly lady had self extricated prior to the arrival of the fire service and were also assessed by paramedics and sent to Peterborough hospital.
