Believed Cause:

Initial Information: The initial call to this incident was received by East Midlands Ambulance service requesting Fire Service attendance to a vehicle that had collided with a domestic property, the driver of the vehicle was not believed to be trapped and the occupier of the property was in attendance. Crews immediately requested that a local authority building inspector attend to assess the structure of the property and upon their advice LFRS technical rescue crews attended to ensure the structure was shored up safely prior to removal of the vehicle. The Red Cross volunteer Emergency Response vehicle attended to provide support for the home owner.
