Believed Cause:

Initial Information: Fire Control were requested by the Police to attend a two vehicle road traffic collision, they were on scene and confirmed that one female was trapped in one vehicle.
Fire Service personnel confirmed that this was a two vehicle RTC, one female was trapped in the rear of the vehicle. Fire service crews stabilised the vehicle and treated the casualty.
Police in attendance and requests have been made for local highways to attend due to damaged traffic lights involved in the collision.

Updated Incident Information: Following guidance of East Midlands Ambulance Service the female casualty self extricated from the rear of the vehicle and has been conveyed to Leicester Royal Infirmary by land ambulance.
The incident has been handed over to the Police.
