Believed Cause:

Initial Information: The initial emergency call came into Fire Service control from East Midlands Ambulance Service reporting a two vehicle road traffic collision with one person trapped but believed two casualties. Crews confirmed that one casualty was in the vehicle and an extrication plan was formulated with EMAS in attendance.
One female was extricated using the Kendrick Extrication Device (KED) and was conveyed to Leicester Royal Infirmary via land ambulance.
