Initial Information: The initial emergency call was received into Fire Control from East Midlands Ambulance Service requesting our attendance at a road traffic collision with one casualty trapped.
Crews confirmed that this was a road traffic collision involving two vehicles with one female trapped who was in and out of consciousness upon arrival.
Extrication of the casualty taking place using holmatro cutting gear.
Police and EMAS are in attendance. Fairfield Road and Goward Street are closed.

Updated Incident Information: The female casualty has been extricated from the vehicle and is now in the care of East Midlands Ambulance Service.
Fire Crews made the vehicles safe.
Goward Street and Fairfield Road remained closed whilst crews were still in attendance.
