Believed Cause:

Initial Information: Initial reports from Leics Police to an RTC involving 1 vehicle that had left the carriageway and was in undergrowth - 2 people trapped after possibly being ejected from vehicle.

Updated Incident Information: Upon arrival incident confirmed as 1 x car involved in RTC, vehicle had left carriageway and was in undergrowth, 1 male and 1 female ejected from vehicle. Fire Service attempting to gain access to casualties via cutting away of undergrowth.
05:12 - Good progress made in accessing casualties. 1 casualty has been removed on longboard, 2nd casualty being packaged up.
05:34 - Both casualties have now been released and are in the care of East Midlands Ambulance Service and being conveyed to QMC
After further Information - neither casualty were ejected from the vehicle, but both casualties had self extricated from vehicle. Fire Service now attempting to make vehicle safe
