Initial Information: The initial call was received from East Midlands Ambulance Service, stating that they had been made aware of a two vehicle collision and one person was pinned in.
Updated Incident Information: 17:08 - It was confirmed that two vehicles had been involved in a road traffic collision, but no persons were trapped. Police were on the scene and casualties were being assessed.
17:18 - A request for a second ambulance was received from fire service crews.
17:35 - One ambulance was in attendance and a total of three casualties were being assessed by the ambulance service.
17:50 - Three casualties were taken to Leicester Royal Infirmary by land ambulance. Recovery of vehicles had taken place and fire service crews were making up equipment.
