Believed Cause:

Initial Information: Call received from Highways Agency advising of a single Road Traffic Collision of a car with 1 person trapped.
Upon arrival, Crews have confirmed 1 vehicle RTC with 1 person trapped. Casualty is currently being assessed by East Midlands Ambulance Service.

Updated Incident Information: 19:31: Casualty being assessed by EMAS. Fire Crews standing by awaiting instruction from EMAS.

19:55: Casualty has now been extricated from the vehicle and is in the care of EMAS. Vehicle fuel has been washed off the carriageway using 1 HR Jet. Vehicle has been made safe and scene has now been handed over to Highways and Police.
