Believed Cause:

Initial Information: Two cars involved in a road traffic collision with persons trapped.

Updated Incident Information: RTC involving two vehicles, one elderly person trapped. Extrication in progress. Police, Ambulance and two emergency doctors are in attendance. A second person involved is being assessed by paramedics.
Stop Message – Extrication complete and both vehicles made safe. One casualty has been taken to the Leicester Royal Infirmary. One vehicle removed from carriageway and the other has been left with the Police to arrange recovery.
