Believed Cause:

Initial Information: The initial caller stated that a swan was trapped in the sluice between two lakes. The RSPSA had been contacted.

Updated Incident Information: 18:21 The officer in attendance called to update that the swan did not look well and requested the attendance of an RSPCA officer.
18:24 Advice was sought from Technical Rescue crews. One inflatable sled and two Technical Rescue personnel in dry suits had entered the water.
18:29 The swan self rescued from the lake over flow and all personnel cleared the area. Equipment was made up and would remain committed for 10 mins.
