Initial Information: Call received from owner - terrier dog stuck down a hole under a shed.
Fire Service liaising with owner, dog was believed to be trapped under large barn outbuilding which had a concrete base, crews currently digging out a large external hole.
Technical Rescue Team requested to attend with underground camera equipment to assist in search.
Crews still digging out to enlarge external hole under outbuilding using pick axe, spade and shovels.
Liaising with Technical Rescue Team, restrictive space camera equipment in use, further external excavation taking place.
Digging out still in progress, Technical Rescue using concrete drill and disc cutter to gain access through concrete floor.
Internal and external excavation continuing, cutting and digging tools in use, dog can still be heard under the outstanding.
STOP – dog located and released from underneath outbuilding and back in the care of its owner, all equipment made up and no further resources required.
