Initial Information: Fire crews are currently in attendance at Fosse road north in Leicester following a report of an unsafe chimney stack with reports of debris falling to the ground. Fire crews are using the Aerial ladder platform to remove loose bricks to make chimney safe. Internal inspection of loft space is also being carried out to assess the degree of damage.
Due to the access required by our vehicles the road has been closed at this time.
Leicestershire Police and a building inspector are also in attendance
