Updated Incident Information: On arrival Incident Commander confirmed 1 vehicle well alight, 1 water hose reel and 2 firefighters wearing breathing apparatus in the open to extinguish the fire.
Lanes 1 and 2 closed for safety.
Vehicle involved a Ford C-Max.
Vehicle recovery being arranged by Highways Agency and vehicle occupants being taken to place of safety off the motorway.
