Initial Information: Multiple calls received to a car fire on Shaftesbury Road, one caller advised that this was now affecting a building.
Informative message received - one car well alight, car fire has spread to single storey garage. 2 breathing apparatus, 2 hose reel jets and one covering jet in use. Police were requested as this is believed to be deliberate.
Vehicle fire has now been extinguished and fire in the building is being tackled. cutting away of building is in progress, 2 hose reel jets and one ladder in use.
Stop message received - Fire in the car and building have now been extinguished. Fire service making the building secure.
Further informative message - Premise is now secure and Police are in attendance.
