Initial Information: The initial call was received reporting a car on fire in a car park on Warren Lane. A further call was received from a nearby neighbour also.

On arrival, fire crews confirmed that one car was involved in fire and was well alight. Two crew members wearing breathing apparatus were working in the open and one hose reel jet was in use.

Updated Incident Information: The fire was extinguished using a dry powder extinguisher, the vehicle was made safe and breathing apparatus equipment was made up. The Police were requested to attend.
