Believed Cause: Driving through deep water.

Initial Information: Call received to a horse lorry containing 3 horses which had driven through a deep ford and become stuck.

Updated Incident Information: The Technical Rescue team entered the water to attach a winch to the lorry. The vehicle, 3 horses and 2 people were then towed to safety.

Public Statement Issued: ALWAYS check water levels at fords before attempting to drive though. If you don't know how deep the water is do not enter.
