Initial Information:
Updated Incident Information: 999 call received from Occupier of the property after being woken by her smoke alarm to smoke inside the property. Fire survival guidance was given by the fire service call taker whilst first responders were on route to the address.
On arrival, Firefighters forced entry to property and rescued 1 female.
4 firefighters wearing breathing apparatus and using hose reel jets entered the heavily smoke logged property to locate and extinguish the fire.
01:00 hours the fire was confirmed to be extinguished and all persons accounted for, ventilation of property and fire investigation now underway.
Occupant was assessed by East Midlands Ambulance service for smoke inhalation.
