Initial Information: Several calls received to smoke issuing from disused Public House. 3 appliances were mobilised to incident. Defensive firefighting taking place using 2 main jets and hose reels.

Updated Incident Information: Assistance Message at 18:40 hours, request attendance of an Aerial Appliance to provide water to fire from above and a 4th appliance for additional personnel.
At 2000hrs fire believed to be extinguished and fire crews working to monitor and damp down hot spots within premises.

Public Statement Issued: 🚨*ADVICE TO RESIDENTS*🚨
All residents on Stadium Estate around Somerset Avenue PLEASE keep windows and doors closed and remain indoors due to Smoke from a fire at the disused Public House the John O Gaunt.
